The combination of a hook and a base fitting enables smooth remote operation. This allows for efficient connection work with underwater drones and ROVs. Attach the base fitting to the tip of any kind of pole, and then set the Mooring Catch on it. Hook it onto the object you want to connect, and pull out the pole to close the gate of the Mooring Catch. This allows you to smoothly connect the object and the hook even from a distance.

Secure the main unit by inserting it into the base bracket.

Push the gate firmly inward with your fingers. Insert the gate into the notch of the base fitting and secure it in place.

Hook the main body onto the object. Pull the pole towards you. The gate will detach from the notch and return to its original position, connecting to the object.
